How is Holy Trinity with St Mark Church financed?
Over 90% of Holy Trinity with St Mark’s income comes from congregation members, most of whom give regularly by bank transfer or through the envelope scheme (which enables us to claim Gift Aid on taxpayers’ donations – see below).
The rest is generated through rental income and centre hire.
Giving regularly
There are many ways to do this:
1. You can do this by setting up a direct debit or standing order through your own bank. It allows you to make a regular monthly, quarterly or annual payment to Holy Trinity with St Mark Church. If you would like to set this up our bank details are as below:
Account Name: Stockton on Tees Holy Trinity with St Mark
Account No: 40675180
Sort Code: 20-82-18
There are also information packs on the information stand in the centre foyer.
2. You can take a pack of giving envelopes which we provide.
3. If you want to make a one off donation you can do so through our bank (as above) or by cash or cheque.
4. A collection plate is made available at all Sunday services.

Tax-efficient giving
If you pay UK tax (Income or Capital Gains Tax) and would like us to be able to claim back the basic rate tax, you will need to fill in, sign and return to us a Gift Aid Declaration if you have not done so already.
The benefit to Holy Trinity with St Mark is that we can claim 25p for each £1 you give. (If you pay higher rate tax, you may recover this through your own tax return.)
